• Train: The distance between Delhi and Chandigarh is about 245–264 kilometers. The average train journey takes about 3–5 hours, but the time depends on the route and number of stops. The fastest train is the Chandigarh New Delhi Shatabdi Express (12046/45). 
• Car: The distance between Delhi and Chandigarh is about 300 kilometers. The journey takes around 4.5 hours. The roads and highways between the two cities are well-maintained.
